We collect Personal Data when you create your account and when you browse the Site. For that data, the controller is DataScientist.fr. Hatim CHAHDI is its legal representative.

As the controller of the data it collects, DataScientist.fr follows the law in force. In particular, the Client must set the purposes of its own processing. The Client must also give full information to its prospects and clients when it collects their consent. It must keep a record of processing activities that matches reality.

We process Personal Data with care. Each time, we take every reasonable step to keep it accurate and relevant for the purpose.

DataScientist.fr may process all or part of your data for the purposes below.

• To run the Site and to manage and trace the services you order. This uses connection and usage data, billing records and order history.
• To prevent and fight computer fraud, such as spamming and hacking. This uses the equipment you browse with, your IP address and your password (hashed).
• To improve browsing on the Site. This uses connection and usage data.
• To run optional satisfaction surveys. This uses your email address.
• To run communication campaigns by SMS or email. This uses your phone number and your email address.

DataScientist.fr does not sell your personal data. We use it only when we need it, or for statistics and analysis.

Under the European rules in force, Users of DataScientist.fr have the rights below.

• The right to access your data (article 15 GDPR).
• The right to correct, update and complete your data (article 16 GDPR).
• The right to block or erase your data (article 17 GDPR). This applies when the data is wrong, incomplete, unclear or out of date. It also applies when the law bars its collection, use, sharing or storage.
• The right to withdraw your consent at any time (article 13-2c GDPR).
• The right to restrict how we process your data (article 18 GDPR).
• The right to object to our processing (article 21 GDPR).
• The right to portability of the data you gave us (article 20 GDPR). It applies when we process that data by automated means, based on your consent or on a contract.
• The right to decide what happens to your data after your death. You can also choose whether we must pass that data to a third party you name in advance.

Once we learn that a User has died, and if they left no instructions, we destroy their data. We keep it only when we need it as evidence or to meet a legal duty.

Please state which Personal Data you want us to correct, update or delete. Please also identify yourself with a copy of an identity card or a passport.

Requests to delete Personal Data remain subject to the duties the law places on us. Rules on keeping and archiving documents are one example. You can also file a complaint with the supervisory authorities, and in France with the CNIL (Complaints | CNIL).

We collect Information about our Customers. We never process, host or transfer it to a country outside the European Union without telling the customer first. The same holds for any country the European Commission deems “inadequate”. We stay free to choose our technical and commercial processors. They must offer strong enough guarantees under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR: n° 2016-679).

We take every needed precaution to keep the Information secure. In particular, we make sure it never reaches people who are not authorised. An incident may affect the integrity or the privacy of a Client's Information. If we learn of one, we tell that Client as soon as we can. We also describe the corrective steps we took. DataScientist.fr does not collect any “sensitive data”.

Subsidiaries of DataScientist.fr and our processors may handle your Personal Data. They do so only to meet the purposes set out in this policy.

Within the limits of their own duties, the people most likely to reach User data are our customer service agents.

DataScientist.fr may sometimes use web beacons. They are also known as tags, action tags, single-pixel GIFs, transparent GIFs, invisible GIFs or one-to-one GIFs. A specialist web analytics partner deploys them. That partner may sit in another country, and may store the matching details there, including your IP address.

These tags sit in the online adverts that lead users to the Site. They also sit on the pages of the Site itself.

They let us measure how visitors respond to the Site and how well our actions work. For example, we count how often a page opens and which details people read. We also see how you use the Site.

The outside provider may collect details about visitors to this Site and to other sites that use these tags. It may build reports on the activity of the Site for us. It may also supply other services about the use of the Site and of the Internet.
